唔經唔覺學左詠春都有半年lu. 初初都幾求奇下, 因為都係為左做exercise等weekend可以鬆下筋骨. 學學下詠春我發覺我開始愛上呢種咁特別既武術. 講返細個o個陣都學過下兩年武術, 不過係少林寺+奧運比賽個種style比較普便都幾好玩架. 後來屋企成日搬又移民都無機會keep住練所以都荒廢左. 最近先有緣份可以學返, 所以都幾開心同埋比起細過個陣同樣都咁有熱誠.其實我開始學詠春都唔係好知原來都有好多種. 睇戲成日都見到葉問, 其實係仲有兩個分別就係阮奇山同阮濟雲進展成e+既3大詠春類別.有乜分別? 分別就好大,香港學個d多數都係葉問. 現時"葉問詠春"好多人學, 變得商業化所以好多人都學藝未精出黎開始教人. 而且葉問教出黎既徒弟都唔同教法, 所以就變左好多因為佢想每個徒弟都唔同. 到到而家1/4原本既精髓都唔知有無,好多野都簡化晒唔見晒d野.*主流都係呢種. 阮奇山係我學個種, "岑能詠春"(岑能係佢徒弟)佢就比較低調, 所以就保留原本詠春既精髓比較多. 一d都唔商業化, 仲要係簡人教個種. 不過e+開始都教多d人.阮濟雲就係阮奇山個哥, 不過學左跟霍保全, 馮少青幾年後來去左越南發展新生活變成"越南詠春" (呢個就唔多知)呢個chart可能會容易明少少

有陣時youtube見到好多詠春clip, 好多都係葉問個隻. 幾乎全部都無foot work, 旋力, 發勁同內功都無鬼晒...唉...d鬼老學完又亂咁加野, 搞到不論不類死用蠻力(Fight Quest, Human Weapon, 好多tutorial etc.) 雖然唔係學左好耐, 但係已經覺得主流既詠春都變晒質.唔多唔少都覺得要自己有義務要保留呢種武術既文化由其實我係個中國人, 因為真係好少人學阮奇山詠春所以我覺得呢個係一種緣份要珍識.

不過武術係要親身體驗過先會明白, 寫唔會寫到個種感覺.

好耐都未試過打中文嚕. 呢排d野突然間變得好快, 做左好多野又唔記得好多野. 不過最緊要冇浪費過時間. 等左一年終於搵到份工係同自己讀書有關既. 之前都幾愁下, 好似係個海到漂又見唔到陸地咁. 而家每分每秒都覺得好實在.

前個weekend本來去out town影下d廢置工廠, 原本都好好地. 不過入左去唔夠一個鐘比人發現左.... 唉又踩屎, 比個security捉到. 不過都好過上次比6 個警察查

好正, 想去多次...

由天窗打入黎既光令到現氣氛好似拍戲咁.

時間停留....

去d少人既地方特別舒服, 無咁多煩腦又可以暫時逃避現實. 個人越大就諗得越多野就覺得負擔越來越重. 不過煩惱多數都係自尋既, 真複雜.

我係唔係一個怪人呢?

今日放工本來去踢波, 不過落雨所以改去食飯. 出到黎個天好靚.

一至五放工, 六日影相or星期日打詠春... 好無時間用

I kind of abandoned my blog for a while, so I went to some abandoned place for a walk to get some inspirations. It was raining when I took them and the place smelt bad. I don't get lucky every time and I acutally got caught trespassing yesterday while doing an exploration with my friends haha. It was kinda f'd up as there were 2 police drove by and right when I started to climb; got busted right in the face :S Good thing the cops were nice and only told us to leave and didn't get into trouble.

I think I got a pattern capturer installed in my eye hahah, it always align the things that I see into some kind of graph then it pops out a picture into my imagination. (not sure if that make any sense lol)

This was acutally not a B/W, it's the weather.

The paints coming off the wall look spectacular.

This place is messed up, I like it.

By controlling the exposure, this can either turn into a horror or fine art. Just a matter of being darker or brighter.

Some of my friends asked me why I stopped updating my blog, so I answered: "nothing much happened these days and boring life" Yeah, but it doesn't mean will abandon it and I only will update it slower than before not as frequent.

When I look at the items i stated in my "to do list", I had done 1.5, so 8.5 to go!Why 1.5? because I am not too sure right now if that's stable yet.Meanwhile, I officially took over my sister's room to turn it into a studio. Hehehhe... And that punched a hole in my bank account :S

I am kind of addicted to shooting B/W these days because they don't need to much editing and are more about feelings, using my brain more. There are just too many ppl abusing Photoshop these day to "make pictures" rather than "take pictures", which is very lame in a sense. I had visited downtown couple of times in this month, usually shopping, eating and touring. This particular scene was very normal to me when I was still a student. Now when I think about it, I had never took a picture of it to become part of my memory.

Had went to job fairs, last year the room was full of land developers, construction companies, planning firms architecture firms, etc etc. This time, there were only 8 companies in total who showed up, 3 only hires intern-ship or co-op, 2 non professionally related (army and UPS delivery), the rest hire full time/contract.

So it's Chinese New Year, I went to do some volunteer since I got nothing much to do. Helped ORBIS Canada for a CNY event at Rogers Centre for celebrities coming from Taiwan and HK. The coolest thing was that I could get free dinner and free VIP seat right in front of FIR, hahah awesome!

Gotta thank my friend so much to hook me up with such a cool volunteer job.

The next night, had a family dinner together with my aunt's big family with cousins.

I just wanted to keep myself busy rather than sitting at home, so I went for some shooting in the early early morning again. It looked great.

Yes, it's so damn cold that nose drop couldn't stop bursting out.

This was actually a bunch of scrap metal and rocks.

The lake is never frozen, argh. Try again :S

I finally took a trip to the AGO ( Art Gallery of Ontario), it would be very dumb to go just by myself. So this time i grab someone who's willing to share the experience with me. I couldn't imagine it could take me more than 4 hours to finish walking around the gallery! Another cool thing was that I found out one of my client works there, so I can always go back for free, wOooot.

I liked the place's interior and architectural design more than ROM (Royal Ontario Museum). It makes you feel relaxing due to how the light source were designed to light up the place naturally and the choice of building materials. I bet the night lights would look more interesting.

Alright, time to go home and do more job search to get a better job.

Goal in 2009, 8.5 more to go!

went to a count down party till 3:30am and then slept for 2 hours, drove all the way to Mississauga to catch the sunrise in -20 ^oC... life is boring after graduation... go to work and go home and sleep, repeat everyday, blah

2009 to do list:

1. find a better job
2. putting my studio together (still waiting for the back order items, blah)
3. do something meaningful and exciting
4. snowboarding
5. learn to swim
6. do well in my business
7. know more single girls (hopefully)
8. get my 5DMarkII and another 1DMarkII or III
9. make lots of money
10. be happy

2 months already and time sure flies by quick, I am not too sure what I really wanted now and what's my goal. After watching the news that the economy is going downfall and the land development market will sure be affected by it. Sigh... Positive, negative, positive... Dats wut I learned from job finding club, gotta stay positive!

I took this at a butterfly garden in the previous month, it was actually kinda cloudy outside so it was ultra dark. Not a very good day for these kinda pics.

Chinese Lantern Festival in downtown, too bad I only had 1.5 hour to stay there. Barely had the chance to walk around.

LoL, they made these by using kitchenware... Awesome!

I enjoy looking at lights and color.

Just some random flower on the side road, again the lights and color looked nice.

It was actually some kind of Rogers Wireless Service Booth, the fierce looking red!

I wish I was taller, the reflection of the water will look better in that way.

Another boring wedding, holy crap they are exhausting.

Took small at trip in Hamilton, unfortunately the maple leaves were still green.

Ding, bad timing!

First time going to York University which is 20 mins away from my home. Helped my friend out on a graduation ceremony, so I saw this hallway next to a food court which looks like the movie ones.

There's a provincial park 30 mins away from my home, so my friend and I went there for some pics.

I cant fit all the trees in my pictures, they are just too tall. I need to get a FF soon, but first wait for the currencies to get stable.

Shooting 15-20 mins of runway and wait 35-40mins for the next show. There were acutally so many ppl at the pit, but they all leave for a breaks or take picture of the celebrities(which i dont know any of their names, haha).

Red dress are always eye catching.

They got a very tallented person to play electric violin at the beginning and the end of the show, hes very very very good.

The last show was suppose to be BIO and I wasnt even allowed, but no one cares cuz it's Canada hahah. This brand got some very European style model, kinda high end.

Last year looked better.

O yeah, this was kinda weird that she did a kick on the runway.

120 films are so damn expensive, 8$ a roll and 5$ processing fee and then $1 for each 5x5 print... PK... Forget it, not playing medium format for a while. It's like burning cash when your wallet is already empty. Borrowed this relic from my uncle, it was the first batch of TLR made in China and this was one of em out of the 200.
